Banh Nam – from The Spice of Life

Banh Nam is Vietnamese shrimp tamale.  The batter is made from Rice Flour, Tapioca Flour, water, salt. The batter is then spread on the banana leaf with ground shrimp,  pork, and scallions.  Each rice cake is  wrapped in banana leaves and steamed.  Link to recipe from The Spice of Life
